Between the blue light being emitted from the screen as well as the fact that you’re staring at a light bulb generates this discomfort. Are eye exams available at American Eyecare?

How long does it take to have eyeglasses made?

Many single vision prescriptions can be made onsite in 1 hour. Most specialty lenses and multifocal orders are completed in 2 to 5 days.

My frame is broken, can American Eyecare repair it?

We pride ourselves in providing a variety of in-house repairs. We realize how important your eyeglasses are and do our best to fix problems the very same day.

Glare is a huge issue when driving at night, is there anything that can be done?

Anti-reflective lenses are our recommendation to reduce the effects of glare and reflections on night driving.

I am nearsighted and my lenses are usually thick and heavy. Are there lenses that will reduce the thickness and weight of my glasses?

We carry the latest in optical lens technology. These include the newest high-density lenses which can dramatically reduce weight and thickness. Based on your prescription and frame choice, the opticians at American Eyecare can make recommendations that will result in the most pleasing eyewear while giving you the best vision possible.

Can American Eyecare make sunglasses in my prescription?

Yes, we have many options regarding prescription sunglasses including polarized and photochromatic lenses.

Can I use my healthcare flex spending?

Your healthcare flex spend can be used for all your prescription needs such as eye glasses, sunglasses, lenses and frames!
